Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Go/Python/Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for 99.99% uptime on AWS/GCP
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins/Terraform
- Present technical solutions to executive stakeholders
- Contribute to open-source projects used by 1M+ developers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems development
- Expertise in at least two modern programming languages (Python, Go, Java)
- Proven track record with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong background in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system designs
- Ability to thrive in urgent, deadline-driven environments
