Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable backend services using Node.js and AWS
- Lead development of secure RESTful APIs and microservices
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js frameworks
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture (AWS/GCP) and DevOps practices
- Proven experience with database design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
