Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and optimize system performance
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement robust monitoring
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology stack evolution
- Drive DevOps initiatives including containerization with Kubernetes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java development with Spring Boot
- Expertise in microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Strong proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda)
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform is a plus
