Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of microservices using AWS/GCP infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural guidance
- Optimize system performance for 99.99% uptime SLA compliance
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Develop RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for mobile/web clients
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents
- Drive adoption of DevOps best practices across engineering teams
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in backend development (Python/Java/Node.js)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) with Terraform
- Strong knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade applications
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design expertise
