Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices across development teams
- Collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architectural guidance
- Optimize database queries and implement caching strategies for 99.9% uptime
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements using Docker and Kubernetes
- Present technical solutions to stakeholders and document system architecture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise Java development
- Expertise with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Proven track record of delivering production-ready applications
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
