Responsibilities
- Architect and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js and Python
- Lead cloud migration projects on AWS infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize database performance for HIPAA-compliant systems
- Collaborate with UX designers to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Contribute to open-source projects that advance healthcare technology
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with JavaScript/Python
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
