Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits to diagnose site architecture issues, crawl errors, and Core Web Vitals opportunities.
- Develop and execute high-level content strategies that align with user intent and search volume trends.
- Lead link-building campaigns to acquire high-authority backlinks from relevant industry domains.
- Monitor search engine algorithm updates (e.g., Google Core Updates) and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with developers to implement schema markup, structured data, and site speed optimizations.
- Analyze complex data sets using Google Analytics 4, Search Console, and third-party tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs) to generate actionable insights.
- Manage and mentor junior SEO analysts to ensure best practices are upheld across the team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic traffic and rankings for US-based clients.
- Deep understanding of Google Search Essentials and current algorithm updates.
- Expertise in technical SEO, including XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicalization, and site speed optimization.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and major SEO auditing tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
