The Role
As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will own the organic visibility strategy for our flagship products. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and content teams to ensure our technical infrastructure supports aggressive SEO goals. You will not just optimize pages; you will architect a scalable search ecosystem that drives revenue and user acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO roadmaps to increase organic traffic, rankings, and conversion rates across all domains.
- Technical Audits: Conduct rigorous technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawlability, indexing, and site speed issues (Core Web Vitals).
- Content Optimization: Lead keyword research and gap analysis, providing actionable insights to content creators for on-page optimization and schema markup.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor performance metrics using Google Analytics 4 and Search Console, providing weekly/monthly reports on ROI and traffic trends.
- Backlink Strategy: Oversee the development of a high-quality backlink profile through outreach and digital PR initiatives.
- Algorithm Monitoring: Stay ahead of Google algorithm updates (e.g., Helpful Content, Core Updates) and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior SEO analysts and work cross-functionally to align SEO goals with broader business objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a track record of driving measurable growth for SaaS or technology companies.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Contentful, or Headless CMS).
- Tools: Proficiency in advanced SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and troubleshooting.
