Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawl errors, site speed issues, and on-page optimization opportunities.
- Develop and execute high-level keyword research strategies to target high-value search terms and capture market share.
- Collaborate with the web development team to implement schema markup, canonical tags, and structured data to enhance search engine indexing.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics 4, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to continuously improve ROI.
- Optimize existing content and guide content creation teams to ensure alignment with SEO best practices and user intent.
- Stay abreast of the latest Google algorithm updates and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a strong portfolio demonstrating significant traffic growth and ranking improvements.
- Deep technical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, or Shopify).
- Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Moz Pro.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with local SEO and e-commerce SEO strategies is highly preferred.
