Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize quantum algorithms to solve real-world business challenges and research problems.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to maximize qubit coherence and system performance.
- Translate theoretical physics concepts into executable code using quantum programming languages (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, or custom DSLs).
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum circuits and error mitigation strategies.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical roadmap for quantum infrastructure.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantum mechanics and distributed computing to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in quantum computing, including developing quantum algorithms and simulating quantum circuits.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Pennylane, or PyQuil).
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability, and complex systems.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, AWS Braket, or Google Cirq).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
