Responsibilities
- Lead Quantum Software Development: Design, implement, and optimize quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and materials science.
- System Architecture: Architect scalable quantum-classical hybrid systems that leverage the latest in superconducting and trapped-ion hardware.
- Research & Innovation: Conduct cutting-edge research into error mitigation techniques and fault tolerance protocols.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a high-performance team of quantum physicists and software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Collaboration: Partner with hardware engineering teams to translate theoretical physics into deployable software stacks.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation and whitepapers to drive industry thought leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in quantum computing, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in quantum programming languages such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#.
- Software Mastery: Strong background in Python, C++, and cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure).
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to solve complex, multi-variable problems using advanced mathematical modeling.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
