Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-level architecture for quantum computing solutions targeting the 2026 roadmap.
- Develop and optimize quantum algorithms using Python and quantum simulators.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure software-hardware co-design and integration.
- Lead the migration of legacy systems to hybrid quantum-classical environments.
- Conduct research into error correction techniques and quantum noise mitigation.
- Mentor junior engineers and define coding standards for the quantum team.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in quantum computing or advanced research.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and Rust with experience in quantum libraries (Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil).
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and probability theory.
- Strong track record of leading technical teams through complex project lifecycles.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for stakeholders.
