Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python.
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices in software engineering, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, design) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize database performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and improve system reliability.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the long-term technical roadmap and architecture.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with Python.
- Strong proficiency with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with NoSQL solutions.
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
