What You'll Do:
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of logistics operations for all Olympic venues and training sites.
- Oversee the integration of transportation systems, traffic management, and crowd control protocols to ensure safe and efficient movement of 100,000+ daily visitors.
- Manage the lifecycle of infrastructure assets, including construction, installation, dismantling, and repurposing of temporary facilities.
- Cross-functional collaboration with security, medical, and broadcasting departments to synchronize operational timelines.
- Develop contingency plans for logistics disruptions and execute rapid response strategies during high-stakes events.
- Mentor and develop junior logistics staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Ensure strict adherence to budget constraints while maximizing operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or large-scale event operations (experience with the Olympics, World Cup, or Super Bowl is highly preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven track record of managing budgets over $10M and leading diverse, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to make critical decisions under tight deadlines and high pressure.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing public events and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Asana, MS Project) and data analytics tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
