Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shipping operations and coordinate freight logistics across the West Coast.
- Manage inventory levels, track shipments, and resolve delivery discrepancies immediately.
- Liaise with carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Analyze shipping data to optimize routes and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding cargo transport.
- Lead the onboarding and training of junior logistics staff during peak seasons.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
- Proven proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Associates.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
