Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop evidence-based future scenarios using predictive modeling and trend analysis
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions for anticipated market shifts
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging technology ethics and governance
- Guide product development roadmaps aligned with 5-year future projections
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or R&D leadership roles
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend mapping, and weak signal detection
- Proven track record of developing actionable future-strategy frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills translating complex futures into business imperatives
- Published research or speaking engagements at global futurist conferences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or Foresight Practitioner Program)
