Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech convergence patterns (AI, quantum, biotech) to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities for 2026 market dominance
- Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps integrating predictive analytics with scenario planning for exponential technologies
- Lead 'Horizon Labs' - cross-functional sprints to prototype future-facing solutions in VR/AR interfaces and decentralized systems
- Present foresight frameworks to C-suite and board members using data visualization and immersive storytelling
- Build and curate a global network of futurists, academic researchers, and industry pioneers
- Author quarterly 'Future Pulse' reports influencing $2B+ R&D allocation
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and exponential technology assessment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-tech roadmaps
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and exponential technology assessment
- Proficiency in AI-driven trend analysis tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trend Hunter) and data visualization platforms
- Exceptional communication skills with proven ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., from World Future Society) or equivalent
