Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies (2026-2031)
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and academic research to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives and board members
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligned with UN SDGs and ESG principles
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready features into development cycles
- Present strategic insights to investors, industry forums, and policy makers
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategies
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTE)
- Published research or keynote presentations at global tech conferences
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation initiatives
