Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks using quantitative/qualitative research methods
- Present trend analyses to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Architect 5-year roadmaps for emerging tech verticals (quantum computing, neuro interfaces, etc.)
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight insights into innovation pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications and industry whitepapers
- Manage a global network of futurist researchers and academic collaborators
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating complex trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published author or conference speaker on future-focused topics
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and foresight software
