Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 global innovation strategy, identifying disruptive opportunities across verticals
- Lead scenario planning and trend analysis to anticipate technological and societal shifts
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions (AR/VR, biotech, climate tech)
- Present visionary roadmaps to stakeholders, securing buy-in for transformational initiatives
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers, keynotes, and patent filings
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability framework
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services (portfolio required)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systemic modeling methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFMP preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
