Your insights will directly influence our $2B R&D portfolio and shape industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives and societal impact
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype and validate next-gen concepts (AR/VR, neuromorphic computing, etc.)
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members to drive investment decisions
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs fostering collaboration between academia, startups, and industry
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global tech summits
- Oversee ethical frameworks for emerging technologies ensuring responsible deployment
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism with 5+ years in C-suite advisory roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, or biotech focus preferred)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate tech domains
- Published author or keynote speaker at premier tech conferences (TED, Web Summit, etc.)
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies)
- Experience building and scaling innovation ecosystems in Fortune 500 environments
- Certification in futures methodology (e.g., CFM, CFP) or equivalent practical expertise
