Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026-2030 strategic cycles
- Develop and maintain scenario-based futures models using proprietary AI forecasting tools
- Collaborate with C-suite to translate foresight into R&D priorities and market entry strategies
- Present futures intelligence to executive stakeholders and investor boards quarterly
- Build and manage an international network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports distributed to 500+ global enterprises
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of implementing successful long-term innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI ethics, biotech convergence, or neurotech
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals (e.g., Futures, Technological Forecasting)
- Advanced proficiency in trend-mapping tools (e.g., Palantir, Trend Hunter, Gartner)
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three major innovation initiatives launched from foresight work
