Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop long-term innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and market disruption
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to foster creative problem-solving and scenario planning
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage pilot programs for breakthrough technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and innovation ecosystems
- Author thought leadership publications and industry forecasts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology forecasting
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Experience managing innovation budgets and pilot programs
