Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Develop and publish strategic foresight reports and innovation roadmaps for 2026+ initiatives
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-focused insights into development pipelines
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and social shifts impacting technology adoption
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry experts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in innovation strategy, R&D, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend mapping, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technology ecosystems and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience working with C-suite executives in technology or Fortune 500 environments
- Portfolio published foresight work or innovation frameworks preferred
