Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and executive teams
- Establish industry-defining partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions
- Author high-impact trend reports and whitepapers published in global forums
- Mentor a diverse team of futurists, designers, and technologists
- Secure $500K+ in annual innovation grants and strategic funding
- Represent 2026 at Davos, TED, and other premier future-focused events
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or R&D leadership at top-tier tech firms
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies (patents preferred)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep network connections with VCs, policymakers, and research institutions
- Presentation skills at executive/board level with $100M+ budget exposure
- Published author or keynote speaker in futurism/innovation domains
- Fluency in at least one strategic foresight software (e.g., Palisade, Trendalyzer)
