Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, societal shifts, and market dynamics
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for 2026+ initiatives
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to identify disruptive opportunities
- Produce executive-level trend reports and actionable strategic recommendations
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into product development roadmaps
- Establish foresight metrics to track emerging adoption curves and disruption signals
- Represent company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation, or futurism roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Experience with emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation publications
- Ability to synthesize global signals into actionable organizational strategy
