Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and global trends to forecast industry developments through 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks and scenario-planning models for clients across AI, biotech, and renewable energy sectors
- Lead workshops and executive presentations translating complex futurist concepts into actionable business strategies
- Author thought leadership reports published in industry journals and media outlets
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Build and maintain a network of global innovators, academics, and industry disruptors
- Advise product development teams on integrating future trends into current product roadmaps
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, trend analysis, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of published futurist research or industry-disruptive forecasts
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive analytics platforms
- Deep knowledge of at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Proficiency in scenario-planning methodologies and horizon scanning techniques
- Portfolio demonstrating successful futurist projects with measurable business impact
