Responsibilities
- Analyze global trends, technological advancements, and socioeconomic indicators to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with industry thought leaders, academic institutions, and policy makers
- Author compelling thought leadership content including white papers and keynote presentations
- Mentor junior futurists and drive a culture of strategic foresight across the organization
- Quantify future opportunities through scenario modeling and risk assessment frameworks
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic plans
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, Technology, or related field required
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
- Experience working with executive teams in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
