- Create scenario-planning models for high-impact uncertainties (AI governance, climate resilience, biotech convergence)
- Establish cross-industry partnerships with innovation labs and academic research centers
- Present compelling future narratives to stakeholders through immersive storytelling frameworks
- Oversee the development of Horizon Dynamics' 2026 Innovation Index and patent strategy
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Systems Thinking, or equivalent discipline
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic systems)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight journals or industry publications
- Certificate in Strategic Foresight (preferred) or certification from Association of Professional Futurists
- Exceptional data visualization skills with experience in trend-mapping tools (e.g., Palantir, Trendalyzer)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic initiatives implemented based on futures research
