Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Lead innovation workshops with stakeholders to map emerging tech impacts (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Produce quarterly trend reports with actionable recommendations for R&D priorities
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and publish thought leadership
- Build partnerships with academic labs and government futurist units
- Mentor junior futurists and establish internal foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in futurism, strategic innovation, or technology forecasting roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Published research on emerging tech societal impacts (AI, biotech, climate)
- Proven experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives
- Deep knowledge of exponential technology trends (Moore's Law, Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex futures concepts
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
