Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and space exploration
- Partner with venture capital arms to evaluate and integrate emerging startups into our ecosystem
- Author forward-looking white papers and thought leadership pieces for industry summits
- Establish strategic alliances with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and NASA innovation hubs
- Design and implement 'Future Prototyping' initiatives for client engagements
- Mentor junior futurists through our Horizon Academy program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Deep expertise in exponential technology forecasting methodologies
- Published author or frequent keynote speaker at Davos, Web Summit, or similar forums
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (CSSF) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-to-market transitions
- Fluency in Mandarin and Spanish preferred for global stakeholder engagement
