Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends and market disruptions to develop strategic 2026-2030 technology roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams to prototype future-state solutions
- Develop quantitative forecasting models for technology adoption curves and market impact
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and integrate breakthrough startups into our ecosystem
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling data visualizations
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology deployment and responsible innovation
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability across global R&D centers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with proven impact on future roadmaps
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning) and technology adoption lifecycle models
- Deep technical knowledge in at least two emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Track record of translating foresight into commercial products or enterprise-level transformations
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
