Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 markets
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for long-term business resilience and competitive advantage
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight insights into R&D pipelines and innovation roadmaps
- Deliver executive briefings and trend reports to guide multi-billion-dollar investment decisions
- Design and facilitate immersive foresight workshops with stakeholders across 15+ countries
- Establish quantitative models to forecast technology adoption curves and market disruption timelines
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurist forums and industry thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5-10 year strategic vision frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology impact assessment, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Published thought leader in futurism or innovation strategy with industry recognition
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
