Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year transformative potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum-resistant cryptography and neuro-interfaced systems
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary workshops with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich research partners
- Author whitepapers on post-scarcity economics and synthetic consciousness implications
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous swarm intelligence and ambient computing ecosystems
- Present findings at Davos and UN Technology Summits to influence global policy
- Mentor a cohort of PhD researchers in speculative design and exponential technology forecasting
Qualifications
- PhD in Future Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent interdisciplinary expertise
- 10+ years in strategic foresight roles at Fortune 100 tech firms or national research labs
- Published work in Nature Futures or IEEE Spectrum on exponential technology trajectories
- Proficiency in Monte Carlo simulations for long-term scenario modeling
- Deep understanding of quantum computing architectures and neuro-symbolic AI
- Experience securing DARPA or Horizon Europe grants for visionary research
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on at least two paradigm-shifting technologies
