CloudScale Innovations is urgently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our high-growth Austin team. This critical role requires immediate availability to architect and implement scalable cloud infrastructure for our enterprise clients. You'll work in a fast-paced environment deploying cutting-edge solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Our ideal candidate thrives under pressure and has a proven track record of optimizing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Automate deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
- Manage container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize system performance and security posture
- Collaborate with development teams to improve DevOps practices
- Provide 24/7 on-call support and incident response
Qualifications
- 5+ years of DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience
- Expert-level AWS certification (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer)
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools
- Strong scripting skills in Python/Bash/Go
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Knowledge of IaC best practices and security hardening
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
