Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Automate container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker
- Monitor and optimize cloud costs using third-party tools
- Lead incident response for production systems (24/7 on-call rotation)
- Implement security best practices (IAM, KMS, network policies)
- Mentor junior engineers on DevOps methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with AWS/GCP
- Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash)
- Kubernetes certification (CKA/CKAD preferred)
- Experience with observability platforms (Datadog, New Relic)
- Proven incident management track record
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
