Responsibilities
- Develop Predictive Models: Design and implement machine learning algorithms to predict voter turnout, identify swing demographics, and optimize micro-targeting strategies.
- Data Pipeline Management: Build and maintain robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to process massive datasets from various sources, including voter registration databases and social media analytics.
- Real-time Analytics: Monitor campaign performance in real-time, providing actionable insights to leadership teams to adjust messaging and resource allocation instantly.
- Cross-Platform Integration: Integrate data insights with CRM systems and digital advertising platforms to maximize campaign efficiency.
- Data Governance: Ensure strict adherence to data privacy regulations and internal security protocols to protect sensitive voter information.
- A/B Testing: Conduct rigorous statistical testing on campaign materials and digital ads to maximize conversion rates.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or statistical analysis.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow), SQL, and Big Data technologies (Hadoop/Spark).
- Domain Knowledge: Experience working with large-scale datasets, preferably in political, marketing, or ad-tech environments.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex data findings into clear, strategic recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
