Responsibilities
- Design and implement predictive models using Python, R, and SQL for large-scale datasets
- Translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations for C-level stakeholders
- Lead end-to-end analytics projects from hypothesis to deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and success metrics
- Present insights through interactive dashboards and executive presentations
- Mentor junior data scientists and champion data governance best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics with government/consulting focus
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Scikit-learn) and statistical analysis
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and big data tools (Spark, Databricks)
- Strong communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- Active security clearance preferred (or ability to obtain)
