Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Utilize advanced statistical methods and data mining techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in large datasets.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop compelling dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
- SQL & ETL: Write complex SQL queries to extract data and collaborate with engineering teams on ETL pipelines to ensure data accuracy.
- Business Intelligence: Partner with product and marketing teams to define KPIs and track performance metrics to support strategic initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions to improve business processes.
- Data Governance: Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization: Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into actionable business insights for non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot data issues and solve complex analytical problems under tight deadlines.
