Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex data models to support ticketing, access control, and fan engagement analytics.
- Collaborate with operations teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies for stadium staffing and logistics.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to monitor real-time attendance and traffic.
- Ensure data integrity and security across all World Cup-related databases and cloud environments.
- Conduct A/B testing on digital fan engagement platforms to maximize conversion rates.
- Lead data migration projects for legacy systems to the new World Cup tech stack.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably within the sports, entertainment, or large-scale event industry.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker).
- Strong understanding of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL) and ETL processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
