Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security policies and incident response procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives
- Generate detailed threat intelligence reports
- Manage security tools: Splunk, Qualys, CrowdStrike
- Ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience in government or enterprise environments
- CISSP or CEH certification required
- Expertise in threat detection and incident response
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Active Secret clearance preferred
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
