Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure for high-traffic applications
- Lead migration strategies for legacy systems to cloud-native architectures
- Develop security frameworks and compliance protocols for federal clients
- Mentor junior architects and conduct technical reviews of design proposals
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance SLAs
- Partner with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
- Present technical solutions to C-level stakeholders
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cloud architecture with 3+ years in AWS/Azure
- Expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, and infrastructure-as-code
- Certified Solutions Architect (AWS/Azure) or equivalent
- Experience with federal compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST)
- Strong background in Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Proven track record of designing multi-cloud solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
