Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud security architectures for AWS/Azure environments
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on federal systems
- Develop automated security monitoring and incident response protocols
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with FedRAMP and NIST 800-53 standards
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud security best practices
- Generate executive-level security risk assessments
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud security with federal/government experience
- Certified AWS Security Specialty or Azure AZ-500
- Expertise in container security (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel)
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
