Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud security solutions across AWS/GCP environments
- Lead incident response for cloud-based security breaches
- Develop compliance frameworks for FedRAMP and NIST SP 800-53
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security culture initiatives
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud security with AWS/GCP certification
- Experience with security automation (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong knowledge of zero-trust architecture and IAM best practices
- Federal compliance background (FedRAMP, CMMC)
- CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent security certification required
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
