Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP/Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Lead complex cloud migration projects while ensuring zero-downtime transitions
- Optimize cloud costs through architecture improvements and resource automation
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments using Jenkins/GitLab
- Provide expert-level guidance on cloud security best practices (IAM, VPC, encryption)
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement monitoring solutions (Datadog, Prometheus)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Expert proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong background in Linux system administration and networking
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure/GCP equivalent)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems in production environments
