Responsibilities
- Design and deploy secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and AWS CodePipeline
- Optimize cloud costs through architecture improvements and resource utilization analysis
- Lead incident response and troubleshooting for production cloud environments
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions for complex multi-cloud deployments
- Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to ensure compliance and best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with AWS
- Expert proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong background in Linux systems administration and networking
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer preferred)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
