Responsibilities
- Architect & Scale: Design and maintain complex cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, ensuring 99.99% uptime and fault tolerance.
- Automate Operations: Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitOps principles and tools like Jenkins and ArgoCD.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce rigorous security protocols, manage IAM policies, and ensure compliance with SOC2 and GDPR standards.
- Performance Optimization: Utilize Prometheus and Grafana to monitor system health, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource costs.
- Disaster Recovery: Design and execute comprehensive disaster recovery strategies to minimize downtime during critical incidents.
- Tech Leadership: Conduct code reviews, drive architectural decisions, and mentor the next generation of engineers.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or systems engineering.
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is required.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash scripting for infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Containerization: Deep expertise in Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and Helm chart management.
- Networking: Solid understanding of VPCs, load balancers, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements for diverse stakeholders.
