Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable Infrastructure: Design and implement robust, fault-tolerant AI systems capable of processing petabytes of data with minimal latency.
- Lead Technical Roadmap: Define the technical vision and architecture for our 2026 product suite, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Optimize Model Performance: Continuously refine and optimize neural network architectures and inference pipelines for maximum efficiency.
- Cloud & MLOps: Spearhead the deployment of models on cloud-native platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and establish best-in-class MLOps practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to integrate AI capabilities into core product lines.
- Talent Development: Mentor junior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- R&D Leadership: Evaluate emerging AI technologies (e.g., Quantum AI, Generative Models) and assess their viability for integration.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years specifically in AI/ML systems architecture.
- Programming: Deep expertise in Python, C++, or Java, with extensive experience using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- System Design: Proven track record of designing distributed systems and high-availability cloud architectures.
- Tools: Strong proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our San Francisco headquarters or a fully remote capacity within the US.
