Responsibilities
- Lead Research Strategy: Define and execute the R&D roadmap for the 2026 timeline, focusing on next-gen LLMs and multimodal agents.
- Model Development: Design, train, and fine-tune state-of-the-art machine learning models to solve real-world business problems.
- Technical Mentorship: Guide a team of research engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Publication & Thought Leadership: Contribute to high-impact academic papers and present at leading AI conferences.
- System Architecture: Oversee the integration of research models into scalable production pipelines, ensuring efficiency and robustness.
- AI Ethics & Safety: Ensure all deployed models adhere to strict ethical guidelines and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in machine learning research, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior technical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow; deep understanding of NLP, Transformer architectures, and reinforcement learning.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects on schedule.
- Innovation: Strong research instincts with a demonstrated ability to publish novel algorithms or methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
