In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical application, ensuring our platforms remain at the bleeding edge of performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and implement scalable AI/ML infrastructure and pipelines to support high-volume data processing and model deployment.
- Model Development: Lead the research and development of advanced machine learning models, specifically focusing on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) for the 2026 roadmap.
- Optimization: Continuously monitor, tune, and optimize model performance, latency, and cost efficiency in production environments.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of junior data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to define technical roadmaps and architectural standards for future AI initiatives.
- Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, model explainability, and ethical AI usage.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering or data science, with at least 3 years in a senior architectural or lead role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Strong understanding of distributed computing systems (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Model Expertise: Deep knowledge of NLP, Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning with proven experience deploying LLMs.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
